# Migration

Blockchain token migration is the process of moving a digital asset called a token from one blockchain platform to another.

This is like moving your toys from one toy box to another toy box because you want to take advantage of new features or switch to a more secure or efficient platform.

To migrate the tokens, you need to carefully take them out of the old platform and put them in the new one.

It is important that users execute the migration carefully to ensure the safety and security of their tokens and to minimize potential disruptions or problems.

## User Guideline for Token Migration

1. Go to the provided link when it becomes available.
2. Connect your Phantom Wallet containing the assets you want to transfer.
3. Verify that the quantity displayed in the system matches your assets.
4. Connect your Metamask wallet where you want to receive the airdropped assets.
5. Read and agree to the terms and conditions of the migration process.
6. Click on the 'Proceed with Migration' button.
7. Pay the network transfer fee to send all of your IP3 tokens and NFTs to the designated wallet.
8. Your tokens and NFTs will be airdropped to your registered Metamask wallet at a designated time (at no cost to you).

## Note:

1. It is recommended to use a hot wallet for the migration process, although a ledger that supports Phantom and Metamask is also possible.
2. If you do not already have a Metamask wallet, you will need to create one.
3. Using a wallet that does not support the ethereum chain may result in the loss of your NFTs, which cannot be recovered.
4. There will be no additional costs for the migration process, except for the small network fee for sending your SOL-based assets.
5. The migration process is not reversible and any assets that are not migrated will not be eligible for services provided by CRIPCO and may result in losses or penalties.
6. Migrating to the ethereum network offers access to more Dapp services, increased network security, and potential expansion and collaboration opportunities.
